چکیده
Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the hemogram analysis results neonatal diarrheal calves with and without gastrointestinal protozoa infection.
Materials Methods: A total 21 diarrhoea were examined within scope study. Eleven cases infection 10 infection. Demographic, clinical, laboratory data evaluated.
Results: When demographic vital signs evaluated between two groups, no statistically significant difference found groups (p>0.05). However, when values compared, it determined that there a in white blood cell (p=0.003) neutrophil (p=0.01) numbers.
Conclusions: Evaluating parameters should be taken into account as is an inexpensive easy-to-apply offers important outputs control follow-up calf health especially which one common diseases.

Detection of Gastrointestinal Helminthic and Protozoan Infections in Diarrhoeic Goats
Parasitic gastro-enteritis leads to a serious health threat with a limitation to the productivity of small ruminants due to the associated morbidity, mortality, cost of treatment and prophylaxis (Nwosu et al., 2007). Parasitic infections are of much economic importance because small ruminants' rearing has become a major source of income particularly to the marginal farmers in the country (Patha...

The aim of the study was to determine the level of homeostatic disturbances during the course of diarrhoea in calves. In the study there were examined 20 H-F calves divided into two groups: 10 clinically healthy and 10 with symptoms of diarrhoea. Acid-base balance parameters, electrolyte concentration, and AST, ALP and LDH activity were measured in the blood of all calves. LDH was also separate...
متن کاملColostrum effects on the gastrointestinal tract, and on nutritional, endocrine and metabolic parameters in neonatal calves
Newborn calves are characterised by marked cardio-respiratory, metabolic and endocrine changes which continue during ensuing weeks and months. Thus, although the somatotrophic axis is basically functioning in neonatal calves, it is not yet mature. The speed of the adaptations of the various traits differs widely. The ability to digest colostrum and milk requires specific structures and function...
